My heart is pounding as I climb on to the stage. I’ve rehearsed this moment a thousand times in my mind. I push past Colot Vanden Bergh with a hint of disgust on my face, who is standing right in front of the stage and doing some foolish-looking dance move that I have never seen on Youtube. Although I am only on stage for 1.5 seconds, it feels like an eternity: I am within arm’s reach of the singer, and dozens of my peers are scattered across the grass. They look like ants from up here on the stage, which is nearly 1.5 meters off the ground.
